A reminder to visit the fabulous bear created by our Orchard Students with the help of TIC TOC art docents, Jenna Hammond and Abigail Birnbaum. As a fun school-wide project to kick off poetry month in April, they created a  poem collage crafted after the poem “The Really Really Really Truly True Truth About Teddy Bears,” by James Carter. Our students wrote one word that inspired them from the poem. All of our words were used to create one large shape poem - in the shape of a teddy bear! It will be on display at the Ridgewood Library in the children’s section for an extended week. Be sure to visit before he goes!
