Arrivals & Dissmissals

For safety purposes, children should arrive to school between 8:35 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.

The school day begins at 8:45 a.m. Children are expected to be on time for school. Children arriving after 8:45 a.m. are to go to the Main Office to get a Late Pass and to have his/her name removed from the daily absence list.

Kindergartners will line up with their classmates outside at 8:35 a.m. Kindergarten students line up on the blacktop area within the Kindergarten playground. During inclement weather, Kindergarten students will stand under the awning at the front entrance to the school. At 8:40 a.m. the Kindergarten teachers will escort the children to their rooms. Kindergartners arriving after 8:40 a.m. are to go to their classroom via the front door entrance, "1".

First graders will line-up with their classmates outside at 8:35 a.m. at the entrance closest to the amphitheater. This entrance is labeled entrance "2". At 8:40 a.m., first grade teachers will escort the children to their rooms. First graders arriving after 8:40 a.m. are to go to their classroom via the front door entrance, "1".

Second graders will line-up with their classmates outside at 8:35 a.m. at the entrance doors labeled "3". At 8:40 a.m., second grade teachers will escort the children to their rooms. Second graders arriving after 8:40 a.m. are to go to their classroom via the front door entrance, "1".

Third, Fourth and Fifth graders will line-up with their classmates outside at 8:35 a.m. in the amphitheater. Their classroom teachers will escort them into the building.

The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. If your child needs to be dismissed early, please email the teacher and the main office in advance. Report to the Main Office and sign the Early Dismissal Log. The secretary will contact the teacher to send your child to the Main Office. Parents are to wait in the Main Office and NOT go to the child's class.

Please advise your child that they should return to the Main Office if not picked-up by 3:10 PM. For the children's safety, the school will remain locked after dismissal. Children will not be allowed to go to classrooms after 3:30 p.m. Please remind your child to take home his/her assignments/books at dismissal time.
