Never-Ending Book Fair with The Curious Reader

Introducing a new way to raise funds for our school while also supporting a wonderful local business. Orchard has partnered with The Curious Reader for a Never-Ending Book Fair!! Starting this Thursday, every time you make a purchase at The Curious Reader, just tell the staff you are from Orchard School and they will credit 10% of your purchase to an account for our school. If you are not familiar with The Curious Reader, it is a great children's book store located at 229 Rock Road in Glen Rock. In addition to having a great selection of diverse books for all ages, they have a leveled reading library that makes it easy for your child to pick books suited to their level. Contact Eimear Lillis (eimear.lillis@gmail.com) with questions.

A Message from Orchard DEI Committee

Orchard Alum, Aaron Perlman, an RHS sophomore created “Resupply Our Schools” to help students from other districts in need. A collection box will be set up outside the main office - please donate by Friday. Here is a list of the most needed items.

Orchard Elementary Storywalk®

Organized by our DEI committee: This story - "How to Solve a Problem: The Rise (and Falls) of a Rock-Climbing Champion," by Ashima Shiraishi, is a true story of strength and perseverance–in rock climbing and in life. To a rock climber, a boulder is called a “problem,” and you solve it by climbing to the top. There are twists and turns, falls and scrapes, and obstacles that seem insurmountable until you learn to see the possibilities within them. Come take a walk on the playground to see for yourself.
